Do you have any updates that Resonance Volleyball Academy should be aware of regarding the Medical History Form or Physical Activity History? If Yes, please provide the updated information.*
Respect At Resonance Volleyball Academy, we are founded on the principle of respect. We expect everyone involved, regardless of age, gender, background, ability, or role, to treat each other with respect. Discrimination, harassment, intimidation, or any harm towards others is strictly prohibited. Fair Play We will abide by the established rules of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and exhibit fair play in all situations. Referees' decisions must be respected, even in cases of disagreement. Cheating, match-fixing, or any form of unethical behaviour in competition is unacceptable. Commitment We will show commitment to training, practice, and scheduled activities. It is expected that, in the event of being unable to attend activities, the academy is informed with as much notice as possible. We prioritize team development and teamwork over personal interests. Communication We will communicate respectfully and constructively with coaches, teammates, parents, and academy staff. Concerns, issues, or feedback could be addressed directly with the coach or sent to resonancevolleyball@hotmail.com. Behaviour Consumption of illegal substances or alcohol during our activities, whether on academy premises or while under their influence, is strictly prohibited. Smoking or vaping is not allowed within Academy premises. Facility and Class Location Information Resonance Volleyball Academy does not have an exclusive facility; we rent volleyball courts from third-party providers. As a result, class locations may change for unforeseen reasons. When we mention “facility”, we mean any location where Resonance Volleyball Academy is running its activities. Additionally, facility rules must be respected and followed at all times to ensure a smooth and productive practice environment. Facility Maintenance and Garbage Disposal Members are expected to maintain the facility in the same condition they found it at the beginning of each session. This includes cleaning up after themselves and disposing of any garbage properly. Responsibility for Belongings Players are responsible for the safekeeping of their personal belongings while participating in Resonance Volleyball Academy activities. The academy will not be held responsible for any lost or damaged belongings. Please do not leave any of your belongings in the change rooms. Parents and Guardians Parents and guardians are encouraged to support their children in a positive manner, urging them to respect this code of conduct and the academy's rules. They should also respect the authority of the coaches and academy officials. Parents are not designated as coaches and are kindly asked to remain seated during sessions. These rules also apply to other visitors. Only coaches are authorized to stand and lead the training. Hydration Players must arrive at practice well-hydrated. All players are strongly encouraged to bring their own water bottle to every practice. Regular water breaks will be provided during practice, and players are encouraged to utilize these breaks for hydration. Dehydration can significantly affect performance and increase the risk of injury. Nutrition Players should consume a light, easily digestible meal with a balanced mix of carbohydrates and proteins before practice. Fasting before practice is discouraged. Heavy or greasy meals immediately before practice should be avoided, as they can lead to discomfort and sluggishness during physical activity. Warm-Ups Players are expected to arrive 15–20 minutes early to warm up and prepare for the training session and Social Games to start on time. Those who arrive late and miss the warm-up are responsible for completing it independently to reduce the risk of injury. Clothing and Attire All participants in volleyball practice sessions, including players, coaches, and support staff, must wear the Resonance uniform (t-shirt and shorts). Please avoid wearing items that could pose a safety risk to yourself or your teammates. Footwear Proper athletic footwear, such as volleyball-specific shoes or cross-training sneakers, must be worn. Sandals, flip-flops, and street shoes are not permitted during practice. Knee Pads/Ankle Protection It is highly recommended that all players wear knee pads and ankle protection to reduce the risk of knee and ankle injuries, particularly during diving, sliding, or landing after jumps in practice. Injuries Participants acknowledge that they are engaging in activities at their own risk. The Resonance Volleyball Academy is not responsible for any injuries or accidents that may occur during practices. It is recommended that all participants adhere to the provided guidelines and take appropriate precautions to ensure their safety. Hygiene All participants should arrive at practice sessions with proper personal hygiene and clean clothing to maintain a healthy and pleasant practice environment. Extreme Weather Please be advised that our sessions may be subject to cancellation due to extreme weather conditions. We will notify participants in advance should any changes occur.
